As a huge 80's fan and of course a huge 80's movie fan, I've come to the conclusion that 1985 was the greatest year of that entire decade.  What constitutes a great year in my book?  Well, a ridiculous amount of movies were released that year that captivated not only myself but I'm sure millions more.  Who can forget when Chevy Chase was the funniest man on the planet or the beginnings of what made John Cusack mah boy?  No these aren't works of art, but they are memorable and above all, fun.  Check this list out:

What the heck is RaiderZ and why does it have such a horrible spelling?  Well I'm glad you asked!  Well I'm not really since it's basically a cheap TERA knockoff free to play, but i digress.  Got a chance to fuck around in it during it's super secret only cool kids get in Alpha testing period, which anyone could get into.

It's really not a bad game in all honesty, but i can't really say since i was only able to make it to level 10.  What distinguishes it from other FTP's is of course the FPS targeting being used in TERA.  It's actually pretty fun once you get going but I'm not really a fan of how the controls actually work since I'm a mouse mover.

The other aspect that i really don't like is the lack of a leather/rogue class.  You're basically stuck with warrior(defender or berserker), mage, and cleric.  I'd kill to be able to play an Archer type and i think the game really does need that archetype.   Who am I kidding, it's only a time waster til GW2 anyways, right?

After my free month was up in TOR, i was not very thrilled with the game and decided not to renew.  As always, i became bored and decided to resub in order to finish off my Gunslinger which i had left at level 43.  Call it stuborness but i just couldn't leave a class unfinished and, to be honest, i sort of missed playing the class.

Shortly after dinging i ran some Ops with the guild and received some nice shiny stuff but i was quickly bored once again.  I realized i missed playing with friends more than the actual game itself.  If anything, it made me miss Rift a whole lot more.  So it's goodbye again, possibly for good this time barring a miracle from Bioware.

   So my PC has been a running joke for a while now. Always running games at the lowest setting and always getting horrible fps. Try raiding in Rift with 8-10 fps. I've  managed well enough though and never had problems with avoiding shit that i had to while still topping dps charts, for rogues anyways. It was long overdue but i finally built my first pc since 2006. The old pc had some updated components but still lacked punch.

   The difference is ridiculous. My old cpu was always running at 100% and bottle necking my gpu big time. I seriously don't know how i managed to raid properly with that old piece of crap. I do find it ironic that i finally build this and am currently not playing anything. I should have some nice fraps going once GW2 is out.

Well, it didn't take that long but finally rank 8. Probably the most fun i've had in Rift despite the class imbalance. This ones all on Noraan, Naughtius and Zygore for distracting people so i could stab them. Played mostly as 51 Nightblade with my warrior mentality of just running in and destroying people. As if any other rogue soul could do that, right?
